Anti-Reflective Coating-
Crizal or Hoya Hi-Vision coatings offer reduced glare so that you can see more detail, sharpness and clarity allowing 99% of light to transmit through the lens. These coatings are the latest technology in AR coatings and they come with scratch-resistance and are hydrophobic. Making cleaning a snap.

Transitions-
Photochromic lenses change from clear to dark in the presence of UV light. As light conditions change, the lenses adjust quickly to provide the appropriate level of tint. Transitions lenses are available in most lens materials and designs, from single vision to progressive, and even in high index (ultra thin) plastics.

Progressive Lenses-
Progressive lenses provide a continuous, clear field of vision from distance through the midrange to near without the use of annoying bifocal lines. (Bifocal lenses use very old technology and changes between distance and near are very abrupt and awkward) Hoya and Varilux have been trusted innovators of progressive lens technology for over 40 years, and we choose to use them based on their reputation and experience in this type of lens.

Digital Progressive Lenses-
This is the newest in progressive lens design incorporating computer software to design these lenses. Every digital lens is designed to your unique prescription, therefore no two lenses are alike. These lenses offer the clearest sharpest vision, not unlike HD TV.

Polarized-
Choosing polarized lenses for your sunglasses will eliminate 99% of reflective glare, so you can see detail and interpret color with maximum impact. In layman’s terms, this means you will see less road glare when driving and enhanced contrast on bright sunny days. Our patients routinely choose polarized sunglasses for golfing, water sports and driving.
